K-9 Top Performance in Worcester (formerly Waggerz Lounge) provides a safe, supervised daycare experience for dogs across Central Massachusetts. Our facility was the first large-scale indoor and outdoor daycare in Worcester, and we have been trusted by dog owners in the area since 2011.

Our daycare is designed around your dog’s needs. With over 5,000 square feet of indoor play space divided into multiple sections, dogs are grouped by size and personality type to ensure everyone has a comfortable, positive experience. Our outdoor play areas feature enclosed safety fencing and synthetic turf, giving dogs plenty of room to run and explore.

Evaluation Request

Getting ‍Started

All dogs must pass a temperament evaluation before their first daycare session. The evaluation is free and gives our staff the chance to assess how your dog interacts with other dogs and people. On evaluation day, your dog will stay for a half-day of approximately 5 hours.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 6:30 AM – 6:00 PM
Drop Off: 6:30 AM – 9:30 AM
Pick Up: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM

What Your Dog Can Expect

Dogs in our daycare have access to both indoor and outdoor play areas throughout the day. All play is supervised by our trained staff, who know every dog by name and monitor interactions closely. Dogs receive plenty of exercise, socialization, and even some cuddle time with our team members.

We take safety seriously. Our facility is monitored by HD cameras with night vision, and our staff is trained to read canine body language and intervene before any issues arise.

I’ve been professionally training dogs for 20+ years. I have my own training facility in NH but wanted a separate place to come train my Belgian Shepherd in protection - something I don’t specialize in. There are many options for training and daycare facilities in the Reading area and the decision to use K9 top performance was based on the methods they use to train dogs and how they treat them. The Commonwealth of Massachusetts requires that we obtain proof of a city dog ​​permit with expiration dates kept on file.

Your dog will spend approximately half a day with us. Our staff will observe how they interact with other dogs and people, their energy level, and their overall temperament to make sure daycare is a good fit.
