Comfortable Dog Boarding in Reading, Massachusetts

Whether you are heading out for a school vacation, business trip, weekend getaway, or unexpected travel, K-9 Top Performance in Reading provides comfortable, stress-free boarding for your dog. Our spacious, state-of-the-art 8-foot by 4-foot kennels are designed to keep your dog comfortable and relaxed during their stay.

Unlike large commercial boarding facilities, we cap our capacity at 18 dogs. This means your dog gets real, individual attention from our experienced staff — not just a spot in a row of cages.

What Boarding ‍Includes

Regular boarding includes your dog being fed on their normal schedule and walked at various times throughout the day. Our staff monitors every boarder and ensures they are comfortable, healthy, and well cared for throughout their stay.

For dogs that would benefit from training during their boarding stay, our Boarding with Training program is available at $85.00 per night. Our trainers will work with your dog on two to three specific issues during their stay.

Frequently ‍Asked Questions

How far in advance should I book boarding?

We recommend booking as early as possible, especially for holiday weekends and school vacation periods. Our capacity of 18 dogs means availability is limited.

Bring your dog’s food (portioned for each meal), any medications, and their vaccination records if we do not have them on file. You are welcome to bring a familiar blanket or toy.

We generally do not allow visits during boarding stays as it can unsettle the dogs. However, we are happy to provide updates. Contact us if you have concerns.
