We understand that leaving your dog can be stressful — for both of you. That is why we focus on creating a home-away-from-home experience. Your dog will be fed, exercised, and cared for on a consistent schedule, and our staff gets to know every boarder personally.
Unlike large-scale kennels, we keep our capacity intentional. Our Reading facility boards a maximum of 18 dogs at a time, which means your dog gets individual attention — not just a spot in a row of crates. Our Worcester facility features 30 luxury boarding suites in a dedicated 2,200 square foot area, all monitored by HD cameras.

Best place ever! They truly treat my dog like one of their own! I live in New Hampshire and drive all the way to Reading because I know I can trust them! Karen at the front has been nothing but helpful and friendly. My Benny was trained by Nick who was extremely patient and took the time to form a bond with us. I would recommend K9 Top Performance to anyone who owns a pooch.
I’ve been professionally training dogs for 20+ years. I have my own training facility in NH but wanted a separate place to come train my Belgian Shepherd in protection - something I don’t specialize in. Despite other options in my area, my criteria for a trainer that was positive, motivating, and good with humans and dogs (especially puppies) was imperative so I was very picky about whom I wanted to work with. I was told about Steve from a client who had also worked with him with her GSD and I decided to call. I am thrilled I did. The staff is incredibly welcoming and full of positive feedback, the dogs are happy, and both my dog and I leave wanting to go back. Thank you to Karen and Steve, you’re stuck with us now.
There are many options for training and daycare facilities in the Reading area and the decision to use K9 top performance was based on the methods they use to train dogs and how they treat them. I have been bringing both my dogs here since the eldest was 6 months old, he’s now almost 4. We over the years have used the K9 camps, both individual and group obedience training, and regularly use the doggie daycare.
