Dog Training

Private lessons, K-9 Camp, puppy training, obedience, behavior modification, protection training, in-home visits, and boarding with training.

Doggy Daycare

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Supervised socialization and exercise on our spacious daycare floor.

Dog Boarding

Spacious 8' x 4' kennels with daily exercise and professional care. Maximum capacity of 18 dogs for personalized attention.

Important Guidelines

Please potty your dogs before entering the building. Do not allow dogs to greet other dogs on leash in the lobby or parking lot — some dogs in our facility are in training and may be reactive. For everyone’s safety, please do not crowd the lobby. If you see several people with dogs, wait outside until the lobby clears.

If your dog is showing any signs of illness — coughing, runny nose or eyes, diarrhea — or has an injury or open wound, please do not bring them in. Intact female dogs showing signs of a heat cycle cannot attend until the cycle is finished and they have had a bath.

I’ve been professionally training dogs for 20+ years. I have my own training facility in NH but wanted a separate place to come train my Belgian Shepherd in protection - something I don’t specialize in. There are many options for training and daycare facilities in the Reading area and the decision to use K9 top performance was based on the methods they use to train dogs and how they treat them. I have been bringing both my dogs here since the eldest was 6 months old, he’s now almost 4. We over the years have used the K9 camps, both individual and group obedience training, and regularly use the doggie daycare.

7:00-9:00 AM and 4:00-6:00 PM are our busiest times. During those windows, phones go to voicemail. Leave a message and we will return your call as soon as possible.

The front office is closed on weekends. Boarding drop offs and pick ups on weekends and holidays are at 9:00 AM or 5:00 PM only. Phones and voicemail are not monitored on weekends.
