Every dog that joins K-9 Top Performance begins with a one-on-one evaluation. This gives our trainers and staff the chance to meet your dog, assess their temperament, and recommend the right program — whether that is training, daycare, boarding, or a combination.
Evaluations are available Monday through Friday at both our Reading and Worcester locations. There is no cost for the initial temperament test. During the evaluation, your dog will spend time with our staff so we can observe how they interact with people and other dogs.
When you arrive for your evaluation, please bring proof of your dog’s vaccinations including Rabies, Distemper, and Bordetella (Kennel Cough). A member of our team will meet with you to discuss your goals and any concerns you have about your dog’s behavior.
After the evaluation, we will provide our recommendation for the best program or service for your dog. If your dog is joining daycare, they will typically stay for a half-day on their first visit to ease the transition.
