K-9 Top Performance offers comprehensive dog training programs designed to bring out the best in your dog. With over 25 years of experience, our trainers work with dogs of all breeds, ages, and behavioral backgrounds. Whether you have a new puppy that needs foundational obedience or an older dog with deep-rooted behavior issues, we have a program for you.
Our training philosophy centers on understanding each dog as an individual. We start every relationship with a private evaluation where our trainers assess your dog and recommend the best path forward. From there, we build a customized training plan that addresses your specific goals.
Our most popular program. Your dog receives one-on-one training with our staff trainers combined with proper socialization with dogs and people. Available Monday through Friday.
Puppies receive private training sessions during the day and are introduced to our daycare environment for early socialization. Building a strong foundation starts here.
We teach your dog all the essential commands — sit, down, come, stay, and heel — along with addressing any specific issues you may be experiencing at home.
For dogs of any age dealing with behavioral challenges such as aggression toward dogs, people, food, or fear-based reactivity. Our trainers evaluate the severity and create a plan tailored to your dog's specific needs.
Individual training sessions for dogs and owners. Ideal for dogs that are ineligible for group settings due to behavioral issues, or for owners who prefer focused one-on-one attention.
A specialized program for personal protection dogs and competition training. Designed to develop skills necessary to deter threats or respond to attempted assaults.
For issues that cannot be resolved at our facility. A trainer comes to your home to work with your dog in the environment where the problems occur.
Your dog stays with us and receives a customized training program addressing two to three specific issues during their stay. A great option for accelerated progress.
All dogs start with a private evaluation at our facility. During this meeting, one of our trainers will assess your dog and recommend the best program. Evaluations are offered Monday through Friday.
We don’t start training until 14-16 weeks of age, once puppies have completed their vaccinations.
It depends on the dog and the goals. K-9 Camp is ongoing and dogs attend on a regular schedule. Behavior modification timelines vary based on the severity of the issues.
Our K-9 Camp program provides socialization in a group environment, but all training instruction is one-on-one with our staff trainers for more effective results.
